Across the world, the Indian diaspora carries with it the timeless values, traditions, and cultural heritage of our homeland. These traditions — expressed through our folk songs, dances, stories, and rituals — are the soul of our identity. However, many of these priceless cultural treasures are fading away in the face of rapid modernization.

Since 2008, Lokrang Sanskritik Samiti, a grassroots cultural organization based in a village in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, has been dedicated to reviving, preserving, and promoting India’s traditional folk culture. Through festivals, performances, workshops, and documentation, we strive to keep alive the voices and expressions of our ancestors for future generations.

We now reach out to you — our extended family across the globe — to join hands with us in this mission. Your support, no matter how small, can help sustain local artists, nurture young talent, and keep the flame of our cultural heritage burning bright.
